Rugby on snow? Whatever next? Games are a regular part of Cross Country Skiing because they get you doing stuff you wouldn't normally do, work your balance and coordination and you tend to forget about your limits for a while. The 8 girls on the two teams certainly were taking things seriously and some had done Rugby at high school. It was a hard fought battle between the classic'ers and skaters but we eventually prevailed 6 to 5 due to some fancy passing and touch downs.
Prior to the rugger we did some no poles drills working on our grip and balance again.
Good for skiing at 9am, not too hot due to cloud cover.
