L said it would be interesting to come on Saturday and so I was set for a long session, first with the SNC groups (saw some old friends from last year) then with the SNC kids. We had the beginners group. After skiing down to the stadium we started with no poles (as ever) just skating back and forth, then some timing drills planting invisible poles, then trying to lengthen the glide.
We then picked up the SNC kids and did a biathlon relay race, unfortunately I'd loaded one of the guns the wrong way round so one team were very fed up to get zero points and I got some "greta" looks from the kids. Again lots of no pole drills after then a bit of off piste - L and JL laid out a course through the power consisting of 2 turns and a bump, not that easy but the kids seemed to go through like downhillers. Then back to the bump run we'd used on Thursday but this time some pretty good jumps and one girl even landed a couple of 180s. Note: must improve my off piste.
Excellent at the col de porte, very nice snow to ski
