Grand Raid - Val d’Isère

Launched way back in 1992 by the Evolution 2 ski school in Val d’Isère, The Grand Raid is an freeride competition run over some of the best off-piste terrain in the Alps.  Teams of 2 to 3 riders, ski, snowboard or telemark and representing a sponsor, club or group of friends race against the watch over a series of long descents.

The ObjectiveRide Team took part in the first round held at Val d’Isère.  They report challenging skiing, a great atmosphere and good food!  Well this is France.
