Avalanche Victim Found on Mont-Blanc
The body of a man, equipped with walking boots and aged in his early forties has been found close to the old Plan de l’Aiguille Cable Car station. Two snowboarders found the body yesterday afternoon. It appears that he had been killed by a recent avalanche. No-one has been reported missing in the last few days.
Update 2 June
We have received the following information: After further investigation by the PGHM the cause of death was not related to avalanche or another mountain activity.
