Henry’s Avalanche Talks 2008 Tour

Val d’Isere Avalanche Educator and Off Piste Instructor Henry Schniewind is taking his famous Avalanche Talks and Beeper training back on the road again visiting locations in London and the South West.

The talks will give you essential information about off-piste skiing and boarding and the avalanche danger. You will develop your mountain awareness while learning how to track down the best snow off piste while skiing responsibly in a group.

The talks kick off at the Metro Ski Show between the 22nd and 25th October. There are mini talks throughout the day on the Ortovox stand with main talks in the afternoon. Henry then moves to the seaside resort of Poole in Dorset with evening talks at Le Bateau Bar and Bistro on the 2nd and 3rd of November and beeper training in the afternoon on Sandbanks beach on the 2nd November, and 8-9th November. He will also be at Snow and Rock in the evening at Port Solent on the 6th November, Kensington on the 11th and Bristol on the 12th. He finishes off at GJs bar in Wandsworth with talks on the 16th adn 18th November.
