‘Cham’, The Beach on Ice!

After the success of ‘Boy A’, which has just been made into a film, Jonathan Trigell’s second novel ‘Cham’ is about the quest for powder and forgiveness in Chamonix Mont Blanc.

With the strap-line “The Beach on ice: deep powder, dead poets and moral free-fall in the death-sport capital of the world.” Trigell’s fictional account of a young Brit out to forget his past in the adrenaline, alcohol and easy lays of the present sounds action-packed if low-brow stuff. But the publisher promises it has:

And the critics seem won over:

Sounds good, I’ll be looking to get a copy in my Christmas stocking. Having done a season in Cham it should bring back some memories of the life there.
