On the 3rd of February Salewa signed the deal to take over Swiss climbing skin manufacturer Pomoca. Salewa owns Dynafit amongst other brands. Pomoca has around 30% of the global market for skins. Not much will change for skiers or Pomoca which will remain based in Switzerland. Dynafit already sells climbing skins aimed at their own ski range. Pomoca started importing skis to Switzerland in the 1870s has been making climbing skins for 70 years.
