It’s the season of snowboarding. Prep up your snowboard gears and be ready for a fun freeride and ollie. But, before you snowboard, a checklist of gears is important in case you want to be safe and sound when snowboarding. You will find that there are many helpful tips on the net to help you learn and practice, taking you step by step from Newbie to like a Pro. Besides that, it’s also important to know how to dress properly. Consider your gear to ensure an enjoyable day of snowboarding, from clothes, snowboard, boots, to Snow Goggles.
Let us first take your snowboarding clothing, try to wear long underwear pants, a long sleeve top and socks made from polyester or polypropylene materials (avoid cotton at all costs).  It will keep you warm and dry. After that, you can wear the second layer, including fleece jacket or vest to insulate you from the cold. A jacket and snow pants protect you from wind in the dead of winter.
Done for the snowboarding clothing, next is wear gear for safety. You will need snowboard boots, gloves, helmet and Snowboard Goggles. Comfy is the rule. Choose the boots according to the bindings – whether step-in bindings and flow bindings for quick and easy fit, or strap bindings and plate bindings for best control. Helmet and snowboard goggles can block snowflakes as well as protect you from bone-chilling wind. Thanks to the technology, some of snow goggles available in the market have built-in megapixels digital camera to let you record moments in digital stills and videos while you riding at a high speed.
There are many brand choices and styles of snowboard gear out there, so be wise in choosing the right fit and application. Please visit Win Snowboards to win various snowboard gears carrying the most popular brands in the market.

Seriously? Shameless plug and somewhat patronising on a website dedicated to off piste skiing. I’m guessing most of us have figured out that we should wear ‘long underware pants’ when it’s cold!
