I was able to get up to la Dole yesterday for a quick tour.

Skiing on the pistes was fun.  Anything away from the lifts seem more suitable to grazing than skiing.

Two lines I skied last year in May that I won’t ski this year.

For the sake of posterity, after walking down to it, I skied the one available couloir in manky, overripe conditions.

Nice views as usual.

The CrĂȘt de la Neige looks like it’s holding some snow.  Le Reculet, too.

Because I’m a sucker I’m sure I’ll head that way fairly soon.  One of the lines I want to ski isn’t on the peak but it’s close and is quite shaded and faces northwest.  Vamos a ver.

Well at least you got some air. Looks like my colleague was right about the conditions.

“Avalanche Gulch” may be skiable on le Reculet.

but probably too low at the bottom.
