It has snowed a lot during the week, about a meter in total although this has compacted down a bit now. I'd noticed they'd opened the Outheran red piste at le Desert d'Entremonts so decided to head up as just the Cluses sector is a bit limiting. I went early as the Outheran is south facing and gets a bit soft. No worries today, a strong north wind was keeping everything deep frozen. To warm up I skied the link from Cluse. Then started on the climb, cool for the first run, then a loop of the green then up to the Outheran again but more into my stride. An annoying couple kept overtaking then stopping. The descent was excellent then straight over to Clusez for a couple of tours to warm down on the flatter pistes.
For the Cheveche green: 10m16 compared to 13m24 last year.
Descent from the Col du Mollard: 2m44 - 3m12 last year
Cluses red: 13m28 - 14m13 last year
Cluses blue climb: 5m15 - 6m16 in Feb 2021
Hard but not frozen snow at 9h30. Technical in places with the recent piste preparation. Strong "bise" cold north wind.
