First climb of the Charmant Som since getting back from Cham. I didn't stop on the whole climb and as a consequence took 3 minutes 30 seconds off my PB setting a time of 32m20 - pretty fast and maybe I can go sub 30 minutes later in the year, which would be quite an achievement and a big change from the days when I was climbing in 45 minutes. Most of the improvement is down to better technique. Finished off with a couple of tours of the Col de Porte area, lots and lots of school groups on the runs.
Warm +7C at noon with zero iso at 2900 meters. All the snow has come off the trees. Generally good ski condition with a mix of loose powder and ice on the runs but sticky snow on the descents.
