Early morning trip to the col de porte, my first cross country skiing since coming down with a throat infection. In fact my last trip on the 22nd seemed to turn a mild cold into the infection. Everything seemed ok but a bit slow climbing (38 minutes for the climb) and had to stop a couple of times to catch breath. Excellent up on the plateau in the morning sun and a really nice ski down.
All pistes prepared overnight, excellent work. Fairly cold at 9am, blue wax would have been good for the climb.
