To prepare for the Freeride World Tour in Chamonix Aurélien Ducroz and friends decided to ski the couloir des Poubelles at Grands Montets. Every mountain seems to have its Poubelles couloir. Legend has it that it served as a rubbish chute for the nearby refuge, it is probably true.
After a rocky entrance at 2765m things don't get that much better in the south-west facing couloir. 300 meters elegantly weaving between rocks before the exit to the Pas de Chèvre and Mer de Glace. "It's here that it gets tricky", jokes Ducroz. The film is part of Ducroz' Cham Line project to ski and film the classic lines of the Mont Blanc massif.
