Great early season cross country skiing conditions on the plateau d'Arselle. The Astragale black wasn't open. Some of the descents on the reds were a bit technical due to some stones, earth in places but this was very minor. There is about 25cm of snow depth on the plateau at the moment but the piste preparation for both skating and classic was excellent. With the warm temperatures snow was beginning to soften at 11am on sun exposed slopes.
