Tour of the Astragal black. The has been a good refreeze and the snow was firm, a little slow in the sun but the route is fairly shaded except on the plateau. Generally homogenous conditions with no real surprises (like mega sticky snow). The climb from the Astragal is in two sections, first via 3 ramps goes from 1500 to 1620 meters (ave 6%), the ramps are quite hard but with a bit of respite between each. Then you traverse the plateau on a false flat before climbing to the top of the area at 1730 meters with a km at around 9% (with a couple of steep ramps).
