Courchevel Loze

Ski-Areas > Northern Alps > Savoie (73) > Vanoise > Courchevel > Courchevel Off Piste > Loze

This area has some excellent terrain for those who are just adventuring off piste for the first time, maybe with an advanced intermediate class with the ski school. It is around the tree line which is helpful in poor weather.

Firstly as you descended the Stade piste you will have noticed a short steep slope on the right dotted with small pine trees. You can reach this by taking the Loze chair, descending to the Lac Bleu drag lift and then following the track that continues to the Saulire. The slope is now on your left.

From the Lanches chair you can ski to the right between the gaz-ex? pipes to join the bottom of the chair or ski further through the trees to the Folyeres run. There is also a large couloir from the Rocher de la Loze, you have to climb up the right of the ridge to reach it.
