The Legend 8800 is slightly less fat for 2006/7. The ski performs well in all snow conditions especially choppy snow and crud. It has more the feeling of comfortable cruiser than high performance ski. Float in deep powder is excellent and it rests on the surface and is very stable. It is less adept on groomed runs carving short radius turns where its width makes it slow moving from edge to edge.
