The heat wave finally broke with a return to cooler temperatures, so much so I had to wear an undervest and a cycling jacket in the morning. Tour over the Venon climb was pleasant as it is a very sunny slope but never that warm. HRmax of 183, 20 min HR of 173 bpm. Whatever any of that means. Climbing times not that great. Snow on the mountains, in August!
Coolish. 10C in the morning. 19C on the col, a bit of a temperature inversion as it was 16C in the valley.
