Description

First time up this climb this year. It really catches the sun and I didn't fancy climbing it during the heatwave. Very slow too. I know I've not ridden much but my slowest time and over 10% off my PB. It was quite windy but I felt lethargic at the start. I know I've not been riding much but still. Unshipped chain at the start of the climb, must order a chain catcher which meant I had oily fingers. Descent via Uriage and as a bonus the road to Grenoble was shut so no traffic.

I'll have to go back before the winter to see if I can improve on today's effort a bit.

Conditions

Bit colder today although all is relative but glad I wore a second t shirt. Road has been resurfaced in places.
