I wanted to try a longer tour of the Mont d'Or above Lyon returning to the Chemin du Tignot which I haven't ridden for a decade. It is as poorly surfaced as ever, well worse than that. After a new road over to Polymieux, a few places still to explore, then I turned south over Mont Verdun for a rapid descent back to Lyon. All done at a fairly easy pace.
Pleasant but autumn dampness under the trees. Moderate breeze from the south.
