Rollerski climb to the Madonna del Sasso (Madonna of the cliff). A church positioned above a 250 rock wall. There is a bit of traffic on the first half of the climb to the fork but relatively calm afterwards. I walked down.
3.7km climb over 260m giving an average grade of 7% but there are some steeper ramps and flatter sections.
4.2km for the climb. 2.7km for the descent. It is not that good a ratio but it may be possible to cut the last hairpin at 540m on the Via Guisseppe Frua.
Warm, 31C but the climb has quite a bit of shade in the afternoon. Road surface generally acceptable apart from about 100m of broken tarmac where there is a little hamlet on the last section of the climb.
