It is insanely hot at the moment so I thought an early start, flat and by the water would be, well if not pleasant, supportable. Well by 9.30am it was far too hot for any sport but luckily I was back. I took the new cycle lane just after Domene, it is not a bad plan as is very wide with no-one else on it so you can ski "grande large" but the return via the farm road is very rough and unpleasant. I wouldn't do the round trip again. Lots of people on the dike by the river including a few rollerskiers (Anne 38 etc). Anyway it was good training to improve technique after the club sessions.
The little loop via the farms is very rough on the route de Communeaux, not very good.
