Black Diamond Equipment, a global leader in backcountry skiing and alpinism, has recently opened a new Ski Test Center in Chamonix, to compliment the already existing BD Test Center in La Grave. Chamonix is an epi-center of freeriding and backcountry skiing in the Alps, and BD is proud to be involved with this new partner.  Surrounded by classic ski stations such as the Aiguille du Midi, Grand Montets, Le Brevant and Le Tour, and with the mighty Mont Blanc looming overhead at 4810m, Chamonix has the terrain to challenge any skier, and Black Diamond has the skis to meet these challenges.

Edge Ski Services, located downstairs in the Yak and Yeti active-lifestyle travel agency located on rue Paccard in downtown Chamonix, will be serving as a BD Test Center, with a complete line of Freeride Skis and professional tuning machinery.  Hotel Le Vert, also located in Chamonix (at 964 Route des Gaillands) has recently agreed to become a partner with BD; hosting our ski athletes, promoting our brand with events and parties and also stocking a complete line of freeride skis for testing.

The BD Test Center in La Grave, France is proudly preparing for the fourth season, also with a full line of Black Diamond Freeride and Touring skis.  Still located in the rustic Hotel Edelweiss, the BDTC La Grave is presently being renovated and will be ready to serve skiers as soon as the ski-lift opens on December 19.
