Descent of the normal route of the Ossau in the Pyrenees by Sylvio Egéa and two friends. They spent the night in the Pombie refuge and started up the face at dawn. Given the weather front moving in they didn’t hang around. The first chimney looks seriously steep and narrow and the route looks very exposed. Perfect conditions and spring snow according to Sylvio.

They’ve been having great conditions this season in the south and I would imagine they will be ski touring until June.
