The Cast binding systme has been designed by Freeride World Tour competitor Lars Chickering-Ayers and after a year’s beta testing is going into production. The binding is based around a Look platform. You climb with a tech compatible toe piece, currently Dynafit is supplied but the company will develop their own toe in the future. You then swap the toe out after climbing for a full alpine toe piece for the descent.

Kind of reminds me of alpine trekkers. If they simplify the toe piece it could make sense, something like the Gignoux toe piece
