Les Deux Alpes Whiteout
We set out from Lyon at 6am and arrived just after 8. We had expected more traffic, we were always with cars on the way up but things were moving. None of the snowmaggedon of the last weekend.

Afternoon Alpine Allevard Ski
Christmas day potter around the Allevard pistes. The Caran main lift was closed so we couldn't access the main bowl. The rest of the open slopes were in good condition.

Les Arcs Last Day
Traditional end of season at les Arcs. We had monster snow fall a week ago but no sign of it now with lots of bare slopes.

Afternoon Allevard Blast
A little blast around the pistes of Allevard. No real queues for the end of the holidays but quite a few kids groups on the slopes so quite busy. The snow is holding up quite well.

Super Collet
First alpine ski of the season. Absolutely nobody around so we managed to cover quite a bit of ground.

Christmas Collet
We decided to head up to the Collet d'Allevard for Christmas lunch and a couple of hours skiing. Really good conditions and plenty to do.

It was almost like end of season conditions. Snow cover is very thin.

Early Allevard
A short morning alpine ski, fairly relaxed trying some longer runs from top to bottom - 500 to 600 meters skiing as the lifts were running quickly and no-one was around.
