After our woodland trip from Bellecombette in the Chartreuse which lacked snow cover this was a catch-up trip to actually do some real skiing. Snow was fairly windblown on the ascent and summit ridge. We met a number of skiers on the summit including David Zipf of skitour fame. On the descent we opted to ski under the Cabottes to pick up some fresh snow.
Route Taken: Descended under the Cabottes to find some untracked powder
Weather: Sunny, cold, but it is in the shade. Pleasant on the summit.
