Road Gap Time
The days are getting longer, spring has sprung and young men’s thoughts are turning to.... Road Gaps. In a couple more weeks the Highways Department (Direction Départementale de l’Equipement) will be clearing the various road passed in the Alps in time for summer visitors.

Freeride Dayz 2004
The Chamonix Freeride Dayz is a week earlier and a couple of days shorter this year as there are no long ‘bridge’ holiday at the start of May. The program remains the same, parties, music, freestyle and the dreaded water slide (fortunately there is a hot tub as the water is still close to freezing).

XVIe Derby de la Meije
Despite the strong wind gusting from the southwest at altitude the Derby was held in reasonable conditions. The snow was good, windblown in places above 2400 meters and icy lower down.

Paradiski Base Jump

Dré Dans Le Pentu 2004
The first edition of dré dans le pentu aims to be an event that is above all, friendly. It will be held over the weeknd of the 27-28 March 2004 on three sites: Mont Joly, Bettex and Mont Joux. The competition is open to all skiers and telemarkers with a good level.

Grand Raid - Val d’Isère
Launched way back in 1992 by the Evolution 2 ski school in Val d’Isère, The Grand Raid is an freeride competition run over some of the best off-piste terrain in the Alps. Teams of 2 to 3 riders, ski, snowboard or telemark and representing a sponsor, club or group of friends race against the watch over a series of long descents.
