Vosges and Corbier Trips

We spent the weekend exploring the Vosges mountain range in Eastern France, close to the border with Germany.  Despite their low altitude there is excellent snow this year and the wooded valleys are absolutely gorgeous.

Cecile has just come back from a long weekend in Le Corbier, she’s been checking out the plans for the station, including new lifts as part of the les Sybelles project.  She reports excellent snow, but didn’t find the station inspiring.  The resort was busy, what did she expect as it is Parisian school holidays?  She suggests staying in St Sorlin, which is much more of a traditional Savoyard village.
