No Summer Skiing This Year at La Plagne

There is no summer skiing this year at la Plagne as the Roche de Mio cable car is being updated.  Last year the summer skiing was cut short due to the lack of snow during the winter months.  The Bellecote glacier has also lost a great deal of its volume over the last 20 years due to a milder climate and the summer skiing was very limited.  The ski station and villages are open and offer activities perhaps more appropriate to the season such as mountain walking, rock climbing and white water rafting.
