La Plagne – New Lifts and Pistes

The longest piste in La Plagne, the Mont de la Guerre has been linked to the Bois on its lower half.  It was always on the more exposed side of the valley to Champany and this should now enable it to open for more of the season.

A new blue piste, la Craye has been created in Champany.  This will have snow canons.

A bridge has been built for skiers to link Plagne Centre with 1800.  It links the Boulevard chair with the Mines ski piste.  There is no need to cross the road now.

A large artificial lake has been build below Plagne Center to supply the snow canons on the JL Crétier pistes.  This piste has just been approved for slalom competition use.

There is a plan to replace the Bijolin chair with a high speed chair.

Construction in Belle Plagne is now finished.  No further building is authorized for the moment.
