Henry’s Avalanche Talks, Val d’Isère

If you are in Val d’Isère this season and want to learn a bit more about avalanches get yourself along to Dicks Tea-Bar for Henry’s Avalanche Talks.

There are two talks each week during the season:

Introduction Talks on Tuesdays
Indepth Talks on Thursdays

Both talks start at 18h00 which is happy hour and are free.  They are organised by avalanche expert Henry Schniewind, a guide with Alpine Experience.

If you are there on the 8th of January then I’m giving a talk on Avalanche Avoidance so you can come and say hello.

Beeper Training is also organised in resort, see Henry’s website for more details.
