Two Dutch climbers have were caught by a slab avalanche while descending from Mont Blanc at around 19h30. The accident occured at 4000 meters altitude in the Mont Maudit (Cursed Peak) sector. The two men, aged in their 30s, were knocked off their feet by the slab, one of the men was killed after his head hit rocks during the slide.
