Friday was a quick afternoon trip up to the Roche Noire, a popular off piste run in the 7 laux resort above Pipay. The snow was pretty soft although it wasn’t too hot due to some cloud cover. After climbing to the summit with its interesting cairn we decided to ski down via the pistes.
There is still plenty of snow at altitude but below 1700m even the ski runs are suffering a bit.
