Funny, but why bother denying that snowboards got wide first?

I think the width is down to snowboard influence for sure, but did snowboards have rocker too?

Anyway, excellent video!

Has anyone tried any of these skis? I saw quite a few in Engelberg last season (mostly being carried by young Swedish guys). At the time conditions were pretty hard packed so I’m not sure they were that useful? I’d like to give them a go sometime, but to be honest I’m pretty happy with my “normal” fat skis (95mm under foot).

A rockered tip is a great invention for all kinds of deeper snow - I think I will not buy powder-skis without one.
