As many of you know, I publish a website named BeaconReviews.com. The site discusses avalanche rescue and avalanche transceivers. I just updated the website for the 2010/2011 season. Here are the key changes to the site:

• A review of the new Ortovox 3+
• An updated transceiver comparison table
• Information on calculating search strip widths
• An overview of avalanche airbags

I also updated:

• News about software updates
• The range test results
• My test conclusions
• And a many other updates

Stay Safe.

Steve Achelis

Thanks for the links and your excellent website.

Thanks for the Thanks, David.

Apologies to the Pisthors.com clan, but I can’t find the time to stay abreast of all the transceiver posts on the forum. People can always contact me directly via the contacts link on BeaconReviews.com.

Yes I’m sure you are busy enough, the site has really grown into a major resource. It is good to see real information on the web these days.

Thank you Steve for a great resource for off-piste safety

Please feel free to post onto http://www.HenrysAvalancheTalk.com any news or info that you have about Transceivers and safety issues.  I will put up some information and links to beaconreviews in the near future
