At £425 per person, The Complete Chalet Host Cookery Course - Food N Shine has been designed specifically for those of you who are looking for a host position with chalet companies in the French Alps.

As competition for jobs in the Alps is as fierce as ever currently due to the economy, tour operators are typically looking for individuals who have been through some form of training, so that they are assured of a certain level of expertise.

Our group size is limited to 5 students on each course, which enables our chefs to spend a maximum amount of time with each student. The course is filled with hands-on practical skills and also the necessary theory - such as hygiene, budgeting, food orders and an overview of useful French food vocabulary.

We want to you come away from the week full of self-belief, expertise, and lots of recipe ideas that you can utilise in the future, as well as being confident in the necessary French language, so that you can talk to your suppliers.

£425 per person, excluding flights, insurance, any outdoor activities you choose to do.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is taken at the time of booking in order to secure your place. The final balance is due 8 weeks prior to the beginning of the course.

The price includes 5 full days of training, food and materials (such as Food N Shine’s bible - which includes 6 day menu plans, how to find work in the Alps, Health and Safety etc), 6 nights’ accommodation in a beautiful chalet Flocon Des Neiges in Reberty Village (an individual en suite room is provided for each student) with all linen and towels provided.
