I am doing a 5 day variant of the haute route starting in Bourg St Pierre on 17th March this season. We are taking the Classic Route via the Valsorey and Clanrion huts, ending in either Zermatt or Saas Fee. The party is being led by an excellent guide, with whom we did the Chamonix-Verbier-Zermatt variant of the HR two years ago. We are currently 1 (or possibly 2) persons down due to a drop out. Anybody out there interested in joining us?  Its a challenging route - so good ski touring experience and reasonable fitness essential.
