The group were said to be experiences.

On the Pravouta, a popular ski touring route in the Chartreuse, an avalanche caught a group of 3 ascending the s/w ridge. One person was partially buried but there were no injuries. There was also a report of a skier triggered slab on the east face of the Grand Sure mountain. The avalanche risk was 2/5 in the sector.

For tomorrow MF has increased the avalanche risk to a generalized 3/5 for the Vercors and Chartreuse due to the continuing cold and strong winds at altitude.
