A wolf was spotted on the runs at Montclar yesterday morning by skiers on a chair lift. Sounds a bit like a scene from the film Frozen.

Frozen was only slightly less ridiculous than Shark Pool - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CY_HGl6W2U

Still that said, I never ever ever ride the last chairlift of the day, thats what drag lifts are for

"Two skiers claim to see a wolf” seems more like it.  I’d check if anyone is letting their husky wander off the lead.

I sexed up the title grin. Obviously for some the New Year celebrations have started early.

I’ve got a friend with the Ecrins National Park ranges and I don’t think he’s ever seen a wolf despite looking for them. In fairness the wolfs don’t go much into the Ecrins as they don’t tend to cross the high cols (so he told me).

Coyotes are a regular sight in the Lake Tahoe, California area.  A few years ago a guy was trying to pet one in the Alpine Meadows parking lot. Him: “Is this your dog?” Me: “That’s not my dog. That’s not a dog.”
