The first half of November 2011 is the warmest on record. After a spring that was already exceptionally hot and dry, autumn 2011 probably will rank among the warmest. The first half of November 2011 shows temperatures above 3.7 ° C above normal.
This is the mildest start to November on record following November 1977 (+3.0 ° C), 1994 (+2.9 ° C), 1963 (+2.7 ° C) and 1984 (+2.5 ° C ).
