Hello,

Doing my second season at Whistler this year. Previously I have just hiked around the Blackcomb glacier area but this year I want to start touring. I’m looking for a good touring binding that can withstand a lot of use. I plan to use these skis all over the mountain so they need to be reliable.

Ski’s would only be in touring mode for 2-3hrs max.

Any advice on a binding would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at Rossi Super 7 or K2 Darkside for the ski currently.

Cheers,

Jake

For serious inbounds use with some light touring I would go for a Marker Baron or Duke (and maybe not the lighter F10/12 as they have a lot of plastic).

I’d agree. I switched from Fritschi FR to Marker Barons last season and I’ve been really impressed downhill and pleasantly surprised with the uphill.
