Judging from your photos the avalanche cross the Iseran road where it starts its first long traverse

No ,I shot the photo from the road, the avalanche stop just before the river...in fact my opinion is not too much snow , probably the “plaque” was at the top and you can see that the avalanche was on the rock...in fact my opinion is more a “devissage” with enough snow to kill..

Interesting that Geoportail illustrate this area as an avalanche risk but then their “machine” displays nearly all alpine slopes as avalanche prone.
