Does anyone know if there would be a problem taking a shovel and probe through airport security as carry on luggage?

They won’t let you take either I’m afraid. You will have to check them in with hold baggage.

Thanks very much.  Looks like the £18 easyjet surcharge for a piece of check in luggage is unavoidable after all…

Yes for that kind of stuff.  Even before the 9/11 restrictions you couldn’t take anything like that in luggage.

Hi I got probe and shovel with me last season from Copenhagen and return from Geneva, but next time I will place it in me luggage ,just in case smile
