Season End at l'Alpe d'Huez
Would the weather be ok, would it not? Finally we set off from Grenoble under drizzly skies but with the chance of sun. Arriving at resort, well at least you could see a few hundred meters.
A trip to the "communist" resort of les Karellis. We'd not been here before and so it was a bit of discovery.
Les 7 laux closing weekend
In theory the closing weekend at les 7 Laux although they often extend the season if the conditions are good.
Les 7 Laux
Morning session at the 7 Laux. We did a few tops to bottom and general larking.
Excellent spring ski conditions. We focused on some long descents, although in Allevard that means in the 620 to 650 range.
Grand Plan flèche and chamois
Time for the tots traditional fleche and chamois tests with the Barioz ski club in their micro ski area of the Grand Plan.
Villard de Lans
Resort OverviewVillard des Lans is situated about 45 minutes by car from Grenoble on the Vercors plateau.
Monday St Hilaire
Tot was keen to do a morning at St Hilaire. The snow conditions are still really good and we tried to arrive in good time to ski for a couple of hours.
Spring on the Collet
It seemed like late spring today. 20C in the valley and a lot of smog, some of the worst valley pollution of the season.
Col de Marcieu
The col de Marcieu is a small family oriented ski resort located in the French Chartreuse mountains on the Petites Roches plateau between Grenoble and Chambery. There is a restaurant and ski hire.
