The beginners area is ideal for small kids who are just learning. There is some off piste, especially the day after fresh snowfall if there is already a base. There are nordic ski trails to St Andeol and Prelenfrey. It is possible to ski tour to the Deux Soeurs (Ski 4.2/E4) and Couloir des Sultans above Prelenfrey.

Mauret Sector

In the Mauret sector there is some between the pistes skiing through lightly wooded areas and it is possible to descend from the top of the runs to the through the woods on the left hand side of the drag. If you follow the blue you can ski the summer MTB zig-zags to the right of the piste and also take a large trail through the Bruyeres woods back to the Mauret. Half way along this trail there is a track leading down to reservoirs and by a left hand bend a canyon is skiable with good snow cover.

Bruyeres Sector

It is possible to ski under the chair from the top of the pistes. The upper section is difficult but the lower section is suitable for kids. The woods are not too dense.
