The bottom of the Barioz nordic area had suffered from the spring weather that reigned all week so only the Creve Coeur was really open at the bottom and there was a 150 meter bare section on the climb to the refuge but after it skied well and I followed it up with the Cret du Poulet in fairly good condition and the Luisard/Grand Rocher black which had drifting snow up on the ridge making it nearly unskiable in some sections. Altogether a pretty good ski and the first time over 20k this season.
