Col de Sollieres 2639 m

Termignon

This is a classic ski touring route to an attractive high mountain pass which is easy to reach from the top of the ski lifts and, being north facing, is often in good condition with powder snow. From the Lac drag lift cross the plateau to the south, after a small ridge turn to the south-east and the Erellaz refuge, Head southwards again to climb up an open valley to the col. The slopes are around 20 to 25 degrees so there is little avalanche risk in the valley itself but watch out for the slopes either side of the valley particularly under the north facing Signal du Petit Mont-Cenis. You can link the descent with the Tannes Forest off-piste giving 1300 meters of vertical.

Bramans

It is possible to descend the south-west facing slopes to the col des Archettes (2510m), the combe des Archettes (avalanche danger) to the hamlet of la Villette (1500m) above Bramans. You will need to organize a taxi back to resort.

Mont-Froid 2822m

You can climb to the summit of Montfroid via the north-east ridge passing by an old fortress.
