The ski resort of Vars is situated in the Guillestrois area of the Hautes-Alpes department in the Southern Alps region. It is part of the Forêt Blanche ski domain. The lift served area extends from 1650 metres to 2750 metres. There are 180 km of lift served runs. There are 45 km of cross country trails. The resort features a snowpark.
