Off Piste Routes

PisteHors.com is principally an off-piste and backcountry ski and snowboard site. Please share your favourite routes in and around this resort. If the description is too long think about putting it in a sub page. The sub-page should always be preceeded by the resort name e.g.

  • Les Carroz D'Araches - Lavancher.

Look at Flaine for more off piste routes, les Carroz is linked to Flaine. Take great care when skiing some off piste routes in Flaine as large rock crevasses often catch out the unaware.

Use the double square brackets syntax to create links.

I rented a great appartment in les carroz. It's in a modern development recently built and consists of 2 bedrooms kitchen/lounge, separate toilet and bathroom and great balcony, with ski locker downstairs and ample parking. It's also very close to the ski bus stop. I booked direct with David Gill on david.a.gill@btinternet.com Another good venue is Les Airelles hotel which is at the foot of the nursery slopes and is ski in/out Most people meet in The Marlow for apres ski drinks. Busy but not mad with tables outside for those sunny days. In the square, difficult to miss!

We don't all ski 24/7, if there are shops: ski, fashion or bookstores you think people should know about mention them here.
